New Constellations is an exhibition of artworks that explore a human fascination with the cosmos. The artists in the exhibition present new arrangements of celestial bodies, reinterpret ancient fables connected to constellations and pose new postulations about how we interpret the night sky, either through scientific reasoning or subjective imagination. This exhibition includes works by Canadian artists Amalie Atkins in collaboration with Guy Maddin, Sarah Burwash, Leah Garnett, Véronique La Perrière M., Ryan Larkin and Louise Reimer. New Constellations will open in conjunction with a public star gazing event at the Gemini Observatory, Sackville, NB.
